Description: This 2-day, 16-hour program is designed to meet the requirements of OSHA 1910.120(q) to provide ongoing industry specific training for On-Scene Incident Commanders, ERT Leaders/Officers, and designated ICS Command and General Staff personnel responding to a complex and expanding industrial emergency. This NIMS-ICS based training program is consistent with standards established by the NIMS Integration Center and FEMA National Standard Curriculum Training and Development Guidance. Program topics include:

• Review of Key NIMS-ICS Concepts, Principles and Terminology
• Common and Unique Industrial ICS Features and Challenges
• Integrating NIMS-ICS into the Industrial Setting
• Initial Response ICS Organization for Industry
• Assessing Conditions and Establishing Objectives
• Understanding Priorities and Making Assignments
• The Value of Practice and Repetition
• Expanding the Industrial ICS Organization
• Effectively Managing Resources for Complex Events
• Ensuring Personnel Accountability
• Working With Multiple Organizations - Unified Command
• Documentation - Using and Modifying ICS Forms
• NIMS-ICS Organizational Position Responsibilities
• Verification of Learning Exam
