Emergency Response and Disaster Management Inspection & Testing Services

A RELIABLE SOURCE OF FIRE WATER IS CRITICAL…
Establishing and maintaining a dedicated and reliable fire water supply system is the single most important component for successful response to fire emergencies in the industrial setting.

FIRE WATER PUMP INSPECTION AND TESTING – Fire water pumps and drivers installed for the protection of industrial facilities must be installed, maintained and tested in accordance with the requirements NFPA 20 and 25. Annual performance testing of fire water pumps and drivers is completed by PetroSafe using criteria established by NFPA 20 & 25 to verify they will function as designed and when compared with the original manufacture design specifications and pump curves. A confidential report on fire water pump performance and any deficiencies is reviewed by a registered fire protection engineer and then submitted to management for their records. PetroSafe can help our customers establish an annual fire water pump testing program to meet the requirements of NFPA and the insurance underwriters.

WATER FLOW SURVEYS – PetroSafe performs fire water flow surveys in accordance with NFPA requirements to determine the fire water flow characteristics and the design performance of existing fire water supply systems at critical discharge points. Water flow surveys establish baseline flow data and characteristics of your fire water system at critical test points. This information is valuable for identifying flow restrictions that may occur due to build-ups, corrosion or closed or partially closed isolation valves. A confidential report on system performance, flow data at critical discharge points, the condition of hydrants and valves, and any identified deficiencies is reviewed by a registered fire protection engineer and then submitted to management for their records. PetroSafe can help our customers establish an annual fire water flow survey program to meet the requirements of NFPA and the insurance underwriters.

FIRE TRUCKS / FIRE APPARATUS INSPECTION AND TESTING - Fire trucks purchased for the protection of industrial facilities must be maintained, inspected, and tested in accordance with the requirements NFPA 1901. Annual fire truck performance testing is required to verify that the pump and other operating systems (such as foam proportioning) will function as designed. PetroSafe provides fire truck inspection and testing services in accordance with the requirements of NFPA 1901. A confidential report on pump performance and any deficiencies is reviewed by a registered fire protection engineer and then submitted to management for their records. PetroSafe can help our customers establish an annual fire truck testing program to meet the requirements of NFPA and the insurance underwriters.

FOAM SYSTEMS - Foam systems installed for the protection of industrial facilities must be maintained, inspected and tested in accordance with NFPA 11. Annual foam system inspection and testing is required by NFPA to verify that these systems will function as designed. PetroSafe provides foam system inspection and testing services in accordance with the requirements of NFPA 11. A confidential report on foam system performance and any deficiencies is reviewed by a registered fire protection engineer and then submitted to management for their records. PetroSafe can help our customers establish an annual foam system testing program to meet the requirements of NFPA and the insurance underwriters.
